Classroom Management : Golf Stroke System
The Puma Team functions on a Stroke System in each of our classrooms. Yes, this system is also found in the game of Golf!
Here are the basics of Golf in each of our classrooms:
1. Quarter 1 = Par 6 course in each classroom
2. Quarter 2 = Par 5 course in each classroom
3. Quarter 3 = Par 4 course in each classroom
4. Quarter 4 = Par 3 course in each classroom
Par 5 means that you may take five strokes and still be able to attend the end of the quarter celebration.
Once a student reaches 6 or more strokes (aka: BOGEY or DOUBLE BOGEY) they will no longer be able to attend the end of the quarter celebration.
Each of our classrooms will be a HOLE:
At the end of each quarter you will add up all of your strokes at each "hole" for a total score. Remember, the lower the score the better!
Ask your teachers how to eliminate strokes with SPOTS tickets!
